Favorite study abroad memory: My last weekend in Santiago, the friends I became close to during my program and I went up to Cerro San Cristóbal. We took a cable car and funicular ride in which we were able to see all sides of the city. It was one of my favorites because I realized I made friendships for a lifetime and was able to share that amazing time with them.
Other travel locations: Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Japan.
Top advice for Sun Devils going abroad: Write a letter to yourself with all your goals and reasons why you wanted to go in the first place. Keep this for when you're homesick or having a tough time and remind yourself why you're there. Study abroad has good and bad, embrace it all and make the best out of whatever situation.
