Why Kim works in study abroad: To help faculty develop programs for students is incredibly rewarding. I love that students have the opportunity to broaden their horizons and become global citizens.
Advice for students preparing to go abroad: Your world is about to get so much bigger, so be prepared. Read everything you can about the place you are traveling to, have financial conversations so you know what you are committing to and then say yes to every opportunity/experience that comes your way.
One of the most important lessons Kim learned while studying abroad or traveling: To be humble.
